Spending some time with our friends at the nursing home on the Tuesday following Easter…..

We used a technique I found on Pinterest

A couple things:

  • Thick paper or card stock works best .
  • These can be done very quickly with sponging or will take a little longer with a paint and brush.  You could use tempura, acrylic, poster paints, or watercolors.  (See below.)
  • Painters tape works better than Masking tape but either can be used. (Masking tape tends to pull off paper with the tape especially on thinner paper).  Be sure to wait until art is dried before pulling off the tape slowly.
  • You can tape your name (child’s or seniors) or any other original and creative idea; stars, snowflakes, or even silhouettes etc…

This one was done using sponge painting.

Simple and very easy to do.  Our children loved helping and creating their own.

Do you know someone you could bless today?
